I work in close partnership with my clients. You can discuss your requirements with me personally, and I will respond to your queries fast and flexibly. Direct communication ensures confidentiality, keeps costs down and ultimately makes for better and more consistent translations.
A one-person operation can't do everything, so I don't accept commissions without having seen the text in question first. I try to be absolutely honest about what I can and can't do. Once I have taken on a project, I am committed to seeing it through.
If you need to have a document translated into multiple languages at the same time, or if you need a huge document translated extremely quickly, you would be well advised to hand the job over to a bigger company with the appropriate infrastructure.

I can produce translations of this quality because I only translate texts from fields which I am familiar with and which I find genuinely interesting. Gaps in my knowledge can generally be plugged quite quickly as I am a skilled researcher. I never start translating before I have read a text in its entirety and understood it, and I don't use translation software. Each of my translations is a hand-crafted product geared specifically to the purpose it will be used for. It goes without saying that I only translate into my native language, English.
